Welcome to Helppa. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out the rules for using helppa.co.uk and the Helppa service. By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
Helppa is a managed home help service that provides and coordinates practical support at home through a network of independent, self-employed Helppas.
Helppa is responsible for managing bookings, payments, and coordination of services. Helppas are independent contractors and not employees of Helppa.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Helppa.
When booking a service, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including address details and any relevant instructions required to deliver the service safely and effectively.
All bookings are made and paid for through Helppa.
Customers pay Helppa directly at the time of booking.
Helppa is responsible for assigning a suitable Helppa to complete the booking.
Payments to Helppas are processed after completion of the service via Stripe Connect or other approved payment systems.
Cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the timing of the cancellation and the stage of the booking process.
Helppa may issue refunds at its discretion in cases where a service cannot be delivered.
Full details may be provided in a separate cancellation policy.
All Helppas are self-employed and operate independently.
Each Helppa completes an onboarding process, which includes application screening and a phone interview before approval.
Helppas are responsible for delivering services to a professional standard and complying with all applicable laws and regulations.
Helppa is responsible for coordinating services but does not accept liability for losses arising from actions or omissions of individual Helppas, except where required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
Customers may leave feedback following completed services.
Helppa reserves the right to moderate or remove reviews that are inappropriate, offensive, or misleading.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity under your account.
Helppa may suspend or terminate accounts where misuse, fraud, or breach of these Terms occurs.
Helppa may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at helppa.co.uk.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
